Overview of the Process
The school starts processing applications in August 2010 for the 2011 school year. Application materials for admissions may be obtained by mail throughout the year by clicking on the contacting the school link. The same information and the application form are available on this Web site. Upon our receipt of the completed application, you will be invited to an Admissions Information Meeting for parents. In addition, an admissions representative will contact you to schedule a visit with your child at the school location of your choice.

Most applications are received by November, and acceptance letters are mailed out in early March. However, recognizing that families may be transferred to the United States from other countries at any time and with short notice, IPS accepts applications throughout the year. Priority is given to returning IPS students and siblings. Financial aid is available.

Decision letters are mailed according to the dates established by the Independent Schools Admissions Association of Greater New York. Parents who accept admission must return a signed contract with a non-refundable deposit which will be credited toward tuition.
