IPS Community Outreach: Ronald McDonald House

At The International Preschools, families support a variety of causes that serve our community throughout the year.  Currently, IPS is hosting a drive for Ronald McDonald House New York, which houses families whose children are receiving treatment for cancer.  The drive includes a collection of goods plus a special event that will take place on Saturday, May 18th.  Read on to find out more!

Collection boxes are set up at each of the three IPS locations during the week of May 13th.  Items that have been requested for donation include baby supplies (diapers, thermometers, bibs, burp cloths) as well as toiletries (shampoo, conditioner) and ready-to-eat or easily cooked foods (granola bars, soup, macaroni and cheese).  These objects help to make the lives of families going through a tough time a little bit easier, giving them one less thing to worry about.

As a community project, families are invited to our East 86th Street location on Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 10:00am-12:00pm.  Here, parents and children can bring items to donate, and make cards for the families.  It will be a wonderful event that will help those who need it.  We hope you will join us!
