Our Mission Statement

Since 1963 The International Preschools has opened a window to the world for young children and their families to celebrate what is shared and what is different among individuals and cultures.

Preschool is a crucial time in a child’s cognitive, emotional, social, and cultural development. At The International Preschools we ensure our students’ time at school is filled with wondrous learning through play, guided by skilled teachers and an ever-evolving curriculum that is research-supported, multi-disciplinary, and globally aware. We ready our students for the academic journey they will experience in their next schools and beyond by building a foundation for joyful learning. We bring together families from New York City and around the world to nurture each child, including English-language learners, within our respectful, inclusive, and caring community.
