The International Preschools has three Manhattan campuses. Each of the school locations has its own character and personality, determined in part by the different neighborhoods and buildings. All facilities were selected and designed to meet the special needs of young children, particularly their health and safety.

345 East 86th Street

After securing the space through a 15-year lease, IPS hired OCV Architects and Source/Sterling Builders to design and renovate this 7,618 square foot former bank facility into a welcoming preschool. This new Upper East Side campus houses seven classrooms for toddlers and preschoolers, as well as a gymnasium, a multi-purpose room, outdoor space, administrative offices, and a direct entry to an IPS reception area. This location, situated near public transportation and within walking distance of Carl Schurz Park, is a perfect spot for families who are looking for a local school in the big city.

This location was completed and opened in 2013.  You can see its construction on this page.

330 East 45th Street

Our Midtown campus at 330 East 45th Street is located in the heart of the United Nations district and is housed within the United Nations Development Corporation center. Within walking distance of UN Headquarters, the air is filled with almost every language and IPS families have a sense walking to school that the world really does come to New York. The 10,000 square foot location is home to the Crèche program for children ages 1.6-2 and seven other classrooms for children ages 2.1-5, as well as the Eiko Shimada Library, a gymnasium, two outdoor spaces, and a multipurpose room. IPS’s main administrative offices can also be found here.

120 West 76th Street

Our West Manhattan campus located at 120 West 76th Street is housed within the West Side Institutional Synagogue. The 7,500 square foot location is home to seven classrooms, a newly-renovated gymnasium, an outdoor space, a library, and administrative offices. In the heart of the family-friendly Upper West Side, this location is a wonderful local school with easy access to Central Park, the New York Children’s Museum, and the Museum of Natural History.

In 2013, IPS renovated the 76th Street gym and added a dedicated library thanks to annual fund donations. This transformation was captured in photos.
